QUETTA: Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Iftikhar Mohammad Chaudhry arrived here on Sunday to resume hearing on the constitutional petition regarding law and order situation in Balochistan and other cases, Geo News reported.
Balochistan High Court Bar Association has filed the petition in the Supreme Court of Pakistan, which is being heard by a three-member bench headed by the Chief Justice of Pakistan with Justice Khilji Arif Hussain and Justice Jawwad S Khwaja as members.
The bench in its previous hearing took serious notice of increasing number of missing persons, incidence of kidnapping for ransom, street and other henious crimes across the province and directed the quarters concerned for taking concrete measures for restoring peace across the province.
