Zardari dual office case hearing shortly
LAHORE: Lahore High Court (LHC)’s Justice Mansoor Ali Shah, a part of the five-member full bench hearing President Asif Ali Zardari dual office case, went on leave making the bench constituted of four judges only, Geo News reported.

The five-member full bench headed by LHC Chief Justice, Umar Ata Bandial was to hold proceedings against President Asif Ali Zardari for not surrendering his political office of PPP co-chairperson and having political activities in the Presidency even after the LHC restraint order.

The report said that despite the bench now left with four judges namely LHC CJ Umar Ata bandia, Justice Najmul Hassan, Justice Ijazul Ahsan and Justice Nasir Saeed Shaeikh will begin hearing of the case shortly.

The court had given time to President Zardari up to September 5 for giving up his political office.
