Quetta: S.P. Investigation killed in firing

QUETTA: S.P. Investigation Jamil Kakar was killed in firing by some unknown persons Friday morning here, Geo News reported.

According to initial information, the incident took place when Kakar was on his way to work from his residence when some unidentified persons opened fire injuring him. Kakar later succumbed to his injuries.

Police have started investigation into the incident.

His funeral prayer was offered at Police Lines and IG Balochistan said that terrorists were targeting the police.

During the last three months, 17 police officers have been killed in Balochistan.
