KARACHI: Protests against the anti-Islam film continued across the country on Tuesday while traders are observing a strike against the killing of two persons during demonstrations in Upper Dir, Geo News reported.
Two protesters died in Upper Dir on Monday as rallies in Pakistan over an anti-Islam movie intensified and the government blocked access to YouTube.
In Dera Ismail Khan, All Students Organisation protested outside the press club and staged a demonstration. They also chanted slogans and strongly condemned the movie ridiculing the religion.
Students of Bahauddin Zakariya University protested in Multan while All Parties also took out a rally in Tank.
Various political and religious parties along with students federations also staged protests in Toba Tek Singh, Mianwali, Muzaffarabad, Kotli, Umer Kot and many areas across country.
