ISLAMABAD: The Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on National Security (PCNS), Senator Raza Rabbani Wednesday termed 'the parallel meetings' of the military leadership with foreign diplomats as 'inappropriate'.
Talking to Geo News after attending a program here, Senator Raza Rabbani said: "The extension in office term granted to the Army Chief General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani was a need of the hour, but (holding of) parallel meetings of the military leadership with foreign diplomats was inappropriate".
Senator Rabbani described the present relations among the Parliament, Army and Government as 'better' compared to the past.
