KBA ex-joint secretary escapes targeted attack

KARACHI: Karachi Bar Association (KBA)’s former joint secretary’s car was fired upon, but fortunately he escaped, while another person on board the car was injured on Monday here, Geo News reported.

KBA president Mahmoodul Hassan said that former joint secretary Farhat Hussain Naqvi’s car was fired upon, but he remained safe, however his brother-in-law was wounded. He said that the attack on the lawyers was part of the prolonged spate of target killing in the city.

He demanded from the government to get the attackers arrested and provide security to the lawyers.
