8 held in Quetta search operation

QUETTA: Security forces arrested eight persons and recovered weapons, drugs and one car without any document in a search operation conducted at Spini Road and its adjoining areas on Tuesday here, Geo News reported.

Sources said that the frontier Corp in a search operation against the suspected persons at Kali Mubarak and its surrounding areas on Spini Road and by rounding up 8 persons recovered 9 pistols, 12 bore repeater, 11 packet of charas and one non-custom paid car.

The residents of the area remained besieged due to search operation.

Sources said that the police were not involved in search operation.
