AIG BDS unit Shafqat Malik told Geo News that the bomb was kept near the corpse of a young man in a bid to explode it, when the police arrive on report of dead body. But the BDS men on information reaching there defused the bomb.
Shafqat Malik said that it was yet to be ascertained whether the dead man died while making the bomb or the militants planted it to target the police by using the young man’s corpse as bait.
