KARACHI: The local court of Karachi has dismissed the bail plea of the two owners Arshad Bhaila and Shahid Bhaila of the unfortunate Baldia Town factory while the bail of another owner Abdul Aziz Bhaila was accepted.

A case of Baldia factory fire incident was heard in the court of Additional Sessions Judge West Abdullah Channa.

SSP Investigation Saqib Sultan in his statement said that the three gates of the factory had been shut on permanent basis while the fourth one was closed on the directives of owners following the fire incident.

He said that he is not pointing fingers at the owners for setting factory on fire and killing the workers, but, he added that the closure of doors was the criminal negligence on their part.
