Four shot and killed in Quetta, Khuzdar

QUETTA: Unknown armed men gunned down four persons and injured a man in separate incidents of firing in Quetta and Khuzdar district on Sunday.

According to police, a man namely Muhammad Yaseen was on way home when unidentified gunmen on motorbike opened fire at him near Musa Colony area of the metropolis and fled from the crime site.

As a result, he sustained bullet wounds and died on the spot.

"The victim belonging to Ahle Tashi and the incident is a sectarian target killing," police said.

Meanwhile, Unknown armed men shot dead Rajab Khan when he resisted bid of snatching his bike at Qambarani Road near Seriab area of the provincial capital.

Unidentified gunmen opened indiscriminate fire at three people when they were on way to the City at Ibrahim Khan Road area of Khuzdar district.

As a result, Abdul Haroon and Nazir Qadir died on the spot while
Muhammad Yousaf sustained injuries.

The bodies and the injured were taken to nearby hospital.

All the bodies of the deceased have been handed over to the heirs after completion of legal formalities.

Police registered cases and started investigation.
