MIANWALI: Former Federal Minister, Dr. Sher Afgan Niazi’s funeral prayer was offered Friday morning here, Geo News reported.
A large number of people including the political and social personalities attended the funeral prayer of Dr. Sher Afgan Niazi.
Niazi was suffering from liver cancer for last six months and was in coma for the last five days. Among the bereaved are included widow, one son and two daughters.
Dr. Sher Afgan was born in 1946. He was elected member district council for the first time in 1979. He became member national assembly in 1985, 1988, 1993, and 2002 elections. He was defeated in 2008 elections. He left politics due to ill health.
Dr. Sher Afgan was known for his legal and constitutional expertise.
