THATTA/ NAUSHAHRO FEROZE: Ten passengers lost their lives and several were wounded in two different road accidents that took place in Thatta and Naushahro Feroze on Tuesday, Geo News reported.
According to sources, a speeding passenger coach turned turtle after colliding with a tree in an attempt to save a donkey cart near Tapak Goath in Naushahro Feroze. As a result, four persons were killed on the spot while dozens were injured.
The injured were rushed to Shah Pur Jahanian and and Moro hospitals where four more succumbed to their injuries including the coach driver. Eight injured are still said to be in critical condition.
Another accident took place in Thatta near Makli by-pass where a pick-up van collided with a trailer while going to Karachi. Two persons were killed and four injured as a result of collision.
