KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain has requested Rehman Malik to devise a strategy to rid the nation of extortionists for good.
During his address from London on the third day of Eid ul Azha Altaf Hussain said that as soon as Rehman Malik departed for London the criminal element in Karachi has reappeared.
The MQM chief said that he has also discussed the matter with president Zardari and asked Rehman Malik to stay in Karachi to review the city’s situation.
He admitted that Rehman Malik pleaded very bravely, the case of sacrifices by Pakistan in the war against terror in front of the British foreign minister. He also said that he wanted to turn Pakistan into a liberal Pakistan according to Quaid-e-Azam’s vision.
The MQM chief said that the people of Pakistan have time and again tried different parties and MQM deserve a chance at the federal and provincial level.
