10 activists of banned outfits held: IG

KARACHI: IG Sind, Fayaz Laghari has said that during the last couple of days Police and Rangers have conducted successful raids and 10 workers of banned organizations have been arrested. He was hopeful that the situation will remain under control during Muharam.

Speaking at the inauguration of a digital computerized lab at Garden Headquarters he said that the Police and Ranjers have conducted successful raids in 68 areas resulting in the arrest of 10 activists of banned outfits.

He also said that a security plan has been devised and hoped that no untoward incident would be witnessed.

The Inspector General appealed to the people to report anything suspicious and help the police in maintaining peace.
