M.Imran to lead Pakistan in Champions Trophy Hockey Tournament
LAHORE: Mohammad Imran has been announced as captain of the Pakistan Hockey team for the upcoming Champions Trophy Hockey Tournament. Waqas Sharif will be his deputy.

Talking to the media in Lahore, head coach Akhtar Rasool said that the national team will try and put up a good show. He also said that the presence of senior players will help the juniors.

The Champions Trophy will be held in Australia next month for which an 18 member team has been announced by the Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF).

The team consists of Imran Shah, Imran Butt, Mohammad Imran, Wasim Ahmed, Kashif Shah, Rizwan Junior, Waqas Sharif, Mohammad Atiq, Fareed Ahmed, Mohammad Rashid, Shafqat Rasool, Rizwan Senior, Shakeel Abbassi, Umar Bhutta, Ali Shah and Mohammad Kashif
