Bal Thackeray in critical condition

Mumbai:Indian extremist leader Bal Thackeray’s is in a critical condition, said an India TV on Wednesday.

Some media reports, while quoting sources closed to the Shiv Sena chief, said that he was in serious condition. A team of doctors is continuously monitoring him.

There were reports that the 86-year-old leader had been put on a ventilator, but party officials denied them.

According to the reports, traffic to the residence of Thackeray has been blocked and there is heavy presence of police personnel in the area as large number of people gathered outside his house.
