Okara: Husband throws acid on wife

OKARA: A husband threw acid on his wife over domestic dispute that inflicted severe burn injuries to the woman, who was shifted to the hospital in critical condition here, Geo News reported.

Police said that a father of four children Abdul Jabbar had for some time strained relation with his wife Saima, who irritated often used to go to her parents’ house. The husband this time wooed her back to the house and threw acid on her that inflicted severe burn injuries, while Jabbar fled away.

Saima crying out of pain attracted the attention of the neighbours, who rushed for help and shifted her to the hospital, where the doctors said that her face and eyes appeared badly affected.
