Rawalpindi Bar observes strike

ISLAMABAD: A complete strike was observed in Rawalpindi Bar against the non-issuance of notification for the appointment of Islamabad High Court’s judges.

The strike was observed on the call of Rawalpindi District and high court bars.

Rawalpindi Bar Association’s President Shaikh Ahsanuddin said that the parliamentary committee had approved the proposals of judicial commission and now President Asif Ali Zardari is bound to issue notification for the judges appointment.

The lawyers also protest against the Israel’s air strike on Gaza and blasphemous content on youtube website.
