LAHORE: A local court in Lahore adjourned the hearing of bakery torture case involving the son in law of Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif till December 10, as the prosecutor could not produced the witnesses before the court, Geo News reported Friday.
Local court of Cantt, Lahore resumed the hearing today where CM Punjab’s son in law Ali Imran along with seven other accused appeared before the court. However, the prosecutor was unable to produce the witnesses, resultant the court adjourned the hearing till December 10.
Last month, a CCTV footage surfaced showing a woman entering the bakery and asking for service. The employee refused to entertain her request as the bakery was closed for cleaning. Later the video showed the elite force beating the bakery employee.
The elite force officials were allegedly the bodyguards of Ali Imran. A case was registered against Imran and seven others.
