Two shot dead in Karachi violence

KARACHI: At least two people were killed and several others injured in firing incidents that took place in different parts of the metropolis, Geo News reported.

According to police, unknown armed men shot dead a man and injured another one near Garden Shoe Market. The police said that the deceased and the injured were identified as Adnan Memon and Danish respectively.

A body bearing severe torture marks was recovered from a garbage dump in Landhi Number 6 area of the city. The slain was identified as Akhtar Hussain,25.

Wahid Gul, resident of Orangti Town’s Hazara Colony was injured in a firing incident while another man Sarfaraz was shot and injured in Kemari area of the city.
