Terrorism must be eliminated for peace in the region: Zardari
SEOUL: President Asif Ali Zardari on a visit to South Korea Tuesday said that the elimination of terrorism was imperative for peace in South Asia, Geo News reported.

Speaking at a luncheon arranged in his honour by the South Korean President Lee Myung-Bak, President Zardari said that wiping out terrorism was imperative for peace in the region and Pakistan has faced many problems due to the war on terror in Afghanistan.

President Asif Ali Zardari said that Pakistan was an attractive country for traders and investors and invited South Korean businessman to invest in the country.

South Korean President Lee Myung-Bak on this occasion said that Pakistan's economy was becoming stronger despite terror challenges and the volume of Pak-South Korea trade was increasing.

The South Korean President said that under the able leadership of President Zardari democracy was finding its roots in Pakistan and a better future is expected for the Pakistani nation.

He also said that bilateral relations between the countries would further strengthen with President Zardari’s current visit.
