Police sources said that Naeemuddin was asleep in his house in Baloch Colony area of Brewery while the gas heater was on. The gas suffocation led to his death that was revealed when his relatives came to visit him at his house.
Police has shifted the body to Civil Hospital for postmortem.
On Tuesday, four members of a family including a couple and their two young children died in a similar incident of gas suffocation in Khalifa Colony.
