According to sources, the reference to be filed on Friday raises 13-questions relating to role of Judicial Commission and a bipartisan parliamentary committee in appointment of judges.
Federal Minister for Law Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Farooq Hamid Naik said that the apex court opinion had been sought under section 186 of the Constitution.
