SSGC holds seminar on safety measures

QUETTA: Sui Southern Gas Company Limited organized a seminar on safety measures here on Sunday.

The seminar held at Quetta Press Club premises was attended by senior officials of SSGC including Chief Manager Media Relations, Anayat Ismail and other officials including Muhammad Amir Khan Dotani and Abdul Samad Khan Kakar and religious scholars.

The speakers in their speeches emphasized the need to adopt safety
measures to control incidents of gas suffocation.

They said that the provincial capital of Quetta and some other districts of the province used to experience minus temperature in winter seasons when mercury dropped down and several incidents of deaths due to gas suffocation take place as people did not switch off their gas heaters before going to bed for sleep.

They urged citizens to switch off their heaters at night before going to sleep. (APP)
