MULTAN: The vicious landlords, whose ferocious dogs mauled a tenant farmer to a painful death (later in a hospital) here, have yet not been captured, Geo News reported.
Mohammad Hanif, a resident of Shujabad town near Multan, died in Nishtar Hospital after fighting for his life for ten days since the dog-bite wounds became too infected to treat.
The initial postmortem report revealed that Hanif succumbed to sepsis (infection of blood) following the dog-bites.
Earlier, Allah Bux along with his son Asif, local landlords, subjected Hanif to barbaric torture over farmland tenancy dispute and went as far as setting feral dogs on him, which sank their canines in his flesh all over his body over and over again.
Though a case was lodged against the barbaric landlords but Shujabad police had not been able to lay their hands on the accused as yet.
