KHUZDAR: A head-on collision between a passenger coach and an oil tanker resulted in six casualties while sixteen others were wounded in District Khuzdar of Balochistan Tuesday, Geo News reported.
According to police, a speeding passenger coach collided with an oil tanker coming from the opposite direction and turned turtle. As a result of the accident, six passengers including two drivers and four security men were killed, sources said. Sixteen others also sustained injuries in the incident.
The passenger bus was on its way to Quetta from Karachi.
Levies and the local administration shifted the injured and deceaced to a hospital where some of the injured are said to be in a critical condition. The administration has kicked off an investigation into the incident.
