Rescue abducted GZD workers, orders PHC

PESHAWAR: The Peshawar High Court (PHC) has ordered to rescue eight abducted workers of Gomal Zam Dam (GZD) immediately.

Chief Justice of PHC Dost Muhammad Khan and Justice Waqar Ahmed Seth heard the petition regarding abduction of eight workers of Gomal Zam Dam.

The court directing interior ministry, defence ministry, Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Fata Secretariat and law enforcement agencies to take concrete step ordered the immediate release of the kidnapped workers.

Fata Secretary of law and order told the court regarding the steps already taken for the release of abducted workers.

It is pertinent to mention here that eight workers of Gomal Zam Dam were kidnapped in August this year.
