Nawaz Sharif backing Zardari for five years: Imran Khan
ARIFWALA: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chief, Imran Khan Monday blamed President Asif Ali Zardari and PML-N President Nawaz Sharif for the 'devastation' of the country, claiming both the leaders share common interests.

Addressing a public meeting in Arifwala as part of his election campaign in the country's Northern areas, Imran Khan said the PPP and PML-N have taken many turns and now their era has come to an end. "A new chapter for Pakistan is about to begin," he added.

He said Nawaz Sharif has been extending his support to Asif Zardari for the past five years, therefore, 'both are responsible for Pakistan's devastation'.

"If we want a prosperous Pakistan, we will have to do without Zardari and Nawaz Sharif," Imran Khan claimed.

Later, leading a rally Imran Khan reached Pakpatan from Arifwala.

Addressing another public gathering in Purana Town Hall Chowk, he said the system of atrocities will come to an end and an era of justice will follow. "And then the big guns and tall politicians, who unleash cruelties on the poor in police stations, won't be able to continue their atrocities," he added.
