OKARA: Minister for Information and Broadcasting Qamar Zaman Kaira Monday said institutions cannot be formed according to the wish of Tahirul Qadri, adding only politicians will participate in the decision-making and no one else will be allowed to be part of this process.
Addressing the workers of Pakistan People's Party here, Kaira said the time to issue threats has long been over. "Tahirul Qadri will know what it meant to contest elections once he runs this race," he added.
With reference to the replacement of Punjab Governor, the Information Minister clarified that the move is not a conspiracy against anyone.
He said the judiciary should not issue orders on political matters, adding, it (judiciary) will have to face criticism if it continues to do so.
Lashing out at the Punjab Chief Minister, he accused him of wasting billions of rupees in the name of 'Sasti Roti' and 'yellow cabs'. He said 70 percent of the Pujab's budget was being spent on 'Lahore'.
