MURREE: Snowfall has stopped in Murree but the residents are facing immense difficulties due to power suspension for the past 34 hours while heaps of snow have trapped the tourists in the area, Geo News reported on Saturday.
The snowfall that started on Thursday night has stopped today (Saturday) at 5 am. Tourists in Murree are stranded with three feet of snow on the road though authorities are trying to clear link and major roads.
The power supply was disconnected at midnight on Thursday and could not be resumed even after 34 hours. Residents are also facing shortage of water due to weather.
