Cold wave to continue for two days
ISLAMABAD: The met department has forecast that the current cold wave will prevail across Pakistan for the next two days, Geo News reported on Saturday.

The upper regions of the country are expected to receive more rain and snowfall in the next 24 hours. According to forecasts, fog would continue to blanket the plains of Punjab, Peshawar and Sukkur.

In the past 24 hours, Chirad has received maximum snowfall of ten inches while two inches of snow has covered Rawalakot.

Risalpur received the highest rainfall of 61mm and Peshawar received the lowest of 20 mm.

Today the temperatures in different cities are: Islamabad 5 degrees Celsius, Lahore 3, Karachi 8, Peshawar 5, Quetta -10, Skardu –3 and -5 in Murree.
