OGRA fraud case: NAB arrests Shahzad Saleem Bhatti
BUREWALA: National Accountability Bureau (NAB) investigation team arrested Shahzad Saleem Bhatti son of Pakistan Peoples Party MPA from Burewala city Sardar Khalid Saleem Bhatti in Tauqir Sadiq OGRA fraud case here on Sunday.

Shahzad Saleem Bhatti was declared one of the front man of the Tauqir Sadiq who allegedly received more than 50 million rupees from different parties to get their licenses approved for opening the CNG Stations from office of the Chairman OGRA Tauqir Sadiq.

Shahzad Saleem Bhatti allegedly received Rs3 million each from Muhammad Iqbal Bhatti, Muhammad Saleem Chohan of Arifwala, Muhammad Sahfique Butt of Muzafargarh, Mirza Shahzad Ahmad of Burewala, Sprint Energy of Bahwalnagar - Hasilpur and other parties and these funds were transferred in Shahzad Saleem Bhatti's bank accounts - a fact that was proved later.

The NAB investigations have proved him guilty of transferring funds and former DG Special Operation NAB Colonel Shahzad Bhatti of receiving Rs6 million from him. The latter then disassociated himself from further investigations but the newly appointed DG Special Operation Colnel Subah Sadiq Khan has again ordered an inquiry into the matter and ordered his arrest.

The NAB Investigation officer confirmed the arrest of Shahzad Saleem Bhatti to this scribe. He added that Shahzad Saleem Bhatti is one of the key accused in Tauqir Sadiq OGRA case and involved in more than 50 million rupees fraud with different parties and further investigation will be carried out from him as well.
