KARACHI: Tehreek-e-Minhajul Quran (TMQ) leader Dr Tahirul Qadri has said that people would reject the caretaker government if it was set up prior to long march, Geo News reported.
Talking to media in Karachi here Wednesday, Tahirul Qadri said they wanted enforcement of the Constitution and not a new legislation of any kind.
He said some politicians were suggesting electoral reforms to Election Commission of Pakistan which he termed as futile. ECP has no right to legislate, he added.
TMQ leader said he was ready to meet President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Raja Pervaiz Ashraf for a powerful caretaker government.
He paid rich a tribute to martyrs of Aisha Manzil blast and offered fateha for the departed souls.
