ISLAMABAD: The Benazir Bhutto International Airport and the Islamabad-Lahore Motorway have been closed for traffic as thick fog covered the federal capital and adjoining areas.
All domestic and international flights would remain suspended due to the dense fog.
The Motorway Police announced that the Kallar Kahar Interchange and adjoining areas would remain closed for traffic due to heavy fog.
Traffic would be diverted to the GT Road, they added.
The motorway and the airport will be reopened after improvement in visibility.
