Multan: CNG stations closed for 12 days

MULTAN: The CNG stations in Multan region remained closed for 12 consecutive days and the stations are now giving a deserted look, Geo News reported on Friday.

Following the gas load management program, the pumps in Multan region were closed on December 24 for three days but continued to remain shut for another three days as Sui Northern Gas ensured uninterrupted supply to domestic customers.

On December 30, CNG stations were opened only for 24 hours and were again closed for one week.

The pumps remained closed for another three days due to deadlock between CNG Association and OGRA over pricing formula. The transporters and motorists continued to face severe difficulties because of closure.
