GUJRANWALA: Chief Justice of Pakistan Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry has said that a decision to reopen Kohistan video case would soon be taken, Geo News reported.
Speaking at a ceremony, the country’s top judge said that the judiciary was informed about the killing of relatives of the boys who had appeared in a Kohistan dancing video.
The CJ said that people reposed confidence in the judiciary through the social media. He said that he had not enjoyed backing of anybody except almighty Allah and the lawyers.
He said that the democracy was restored in the country due to the sacrifices rendered by the lawyers’ fraternity.
