KARACHI: Pakistan Awami Tehreek Chief Tahir-ul-Qadri hold telephonic conversation with MQM Chief Altaf Hussain and discussed political situation prevailing in the country.
During their conversation, Tahirul Qadri said that various political leaders are alleging him that his return to country carried mission to have elections postponed and to derail the democratic system.
Altaf Hussain said that Qadri don’t want to delay elections but to abolish the feudal system, culture of loot, corruption and writing-off of billions of rupees of loans and to get electoral system reformed.
Hussain further said the people who are leveling accusations against Qadri want to maintain the status quo in the country.
He reiterated to extend MQM’s support to Dr Tahirul Qadri due to having a ‘principle harmony’, he added.
