Resolution against Tahirul Qadri tabled in KP Assembly

PESAHAWAR: A resolution against Dr Tahirul Qadri has been tabled in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly, asking the Election Commission to continue its preparation for forthcoming general elections.

PML-N’s member provincial assembly Javed Abbasi submitted the resolution.

The resolution said that several forces wanted to derail democracy and the demand for electoral reforms are being used to get the elections delayed.

It said that those elements knew that the people of Pakistan would reject them in the forthcoming elections.

Election Commission should continue its preparations for next general elections without fear, the resolution added.
