MULTAN: Fog in Multan led to a road accident between a passenger bus and truck that injured eight persons Saturday, Geo News reported.
According to sources, dense fog in Multan has resulted in zero visibility due to which a mishap occurred when a passenger coach ran into a truck standing at the roadside in Tehsil Shujaabad. The coach, then, turned turtle that left eight passengers wounded.
The injured were shifted to a nearby hospital from where they were discharged after treatment.
According to the met department, several districts in southern Punjab and Multan are covered with thick haze that will continue for the next three days. Fog has also increased cold in those areas while the minimum temperature of 1 degree was recorded in Multan today.
