ISLAMABAD: The Deputy Chief of (US) Mission, Richard Hoagland, Saturday dispelled the impression that Washington was backing Minhaj-ul-Quran chief, Allama Tahir-ul-Qadri,who has threatened the government with a long march, Geo News reported.
“US administration doesn’t bet on individuals or political parties and Qadri is not an exception at all,” said he talking to media here in Islamabad.
On drone attacks in Waziristan and Mulla Nazir’s killing in one of the same, he said America’s stance against terrorism was unshakable, adding it would go as far as it took to fight the menace off.
“Washington will never leave Islamabad alone in the war on terror. We will see our ally through till the end. We wish a stable and stronger Pakistan no matter what,” said he.
