Malik warns of terror attack on Qadri march
ISLAMABAD: Interior Minister Rehman Malik has said that Tahirul Qadri would be informed about security threats over his long march on Islamabad, Geo News reported on Saturday.

Speaking to media, Malik said that there were concerns of terror attack on Qadri’s march, adding that the warning was like that of issued before an attack on former Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Bashir Bilour.

Malik said the warning was not meant to spread panic instead it was people’s right to be informed. He said that participants of the march would be welcomed in Islamabad but they should also take into consideration miseries of residents of Islamabad.

Malik said that the Taliban had yet not responded to a call for forming a delegation to hold talks with the government.

He also appealed to the Taliban fighters to renounce violence and give up their arms, adding that they would be provided with jobs to serve the country.

To a question Malik said that a money laundering case was referred to the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) and a reminder would be sent to the anti-corruption body in this regard on Sunday.
