KARACHI: Siraj Talpur who was arrested from Morro due to his alleged involvement in the murder of youngster Shahzeb has been shifted to Karachi, Geo news reported.
The police of Hyderabad, Dadu and Noshero Feroze had launched joint raids in Morro, arresting Siraj Talpur along with his three mates.
The police said that interrogation with the accused is underway in Karachi.
Police sprang into action on Friday after the Supreme Court directed concerned authorities to arrest the accused in the Shahzeb Khan murder case and present a charge sheet within 24 hours.
The Police started conducting raids for the arrest of Shahrukh Jatoi and Siraj Talpur. Earlier on Saturday the Police raided a bungalow in Defence phase 6 in Karachi and recovered the vehicle that had been used in the crime, belonging to Asim Lund.
On Friday, the Supreme Court directed the Additional IG Sindh to attend court proceedings without his uniform if the Police failed to arrest Shahzeb's killers.
The chief justice had taken suo moto notice of the brutal murder, based on press clippings carrying the story regarding his killing. Shahzeb Khan was gunned down in Karachi on December 25th, while police failed to make any progress due to immense political pressure.
