Qadri warns against stopping long-march
LAHORE: Tehreek-e-Minhajul Quran chief Dr Allama Tahirul Qadri has warned both the federal and the Punjab governments against stopping his march on Islamabad, Geo News reported Sunday.

Addressing a press conference, he made it clear that his march would be peaceful and he would be in no control of his workers if the government attempted to halt it.

He also warned Punjab government against harassing his party workers and threatened that half of the participants would march on Lahore while rest on Islamabad if any effort to halt the march was put up.

“We want to change system through election, not (political) parties,” he said and added that it would be decided on Jan 14 in Islamabad whether the looters would rule the country or those who were being looted.

“I want to remind PPP workers of Zulfiqar Ali Bhuttos’ slogan of Roti, Kapra, and Makaan, nobody has yet got these things,” he added.

Qadri said that his door was open to dialogue and he would talk to Interior Minister Rehman Malik if he visited him.
