According to police, a man identified as Ahmed Gul was kidnapped on gun point from Hyatabad area of the city.
The police conducted a raid in Industrial Estate area of the locality and recovered the hostage, arresting a dozen kidnappers and impounding two vehicles. Further investigation was underway, the police added.
