KARACHI: Businesses remained closed in different parts of Sindh as The Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) announced day of mourning across the country over the killing of around 140 people in bomb blasts in Quetta and Swat, Geo News reported Sunday .
Traffic remained off the roads in Hybderabad, Tando Mujhammad Khan, Tando Bago, Gharo, Badin and other areas.
MQM chief Altaf Hussain appealed to the people not to do any business or resort to violence during the day of mourning, said a statement issued by the party. He condemned the bomb blasts as well as the indifferent attitude of the federal and Balochistan governments.
