Bakery torture case: Court acquits Ali Imran

LAHORE: The court has acquitted Ali Imran, son in law of Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif, from the bakery torture case on Wednesday, Geo News reported.

The case was heard in a local court headed by Magistrate Munawar Hasan. The plaintiff and victim of torture, Irfan said that Ali Imran was neither present at the time of torture nor was he among the culprits.

Police arrested Ali Imran in the bakery torture case under Article 109 when a video surfaced showing an employee severely beaten when he refused to entertain a customer because the bakery was closed.
