Peshawar: students protest over Bara killings

PESHAWAR: Students staged protest demonstration here on Thursday against the killings of over eighteen people in Tehseel Bara area of Khyber Agency, Geo news reported.

Police used tear gas shelling and baton charge to disperse enraged protesters while angry demonstrators pelted stone, injuring Geo News cameraman.

According to details, a huge crowd of students held a protest in front of Peshawar Press Club and blocked SherShah Suri road for traffic. The demonstrators also chanted slogans against government.

Meanwhile, the injured cameraman has been shifted to Lady Reading Hospital for medical treatment.
