Lahore, Bahawalpur Corps Commanders changed

RAWALPINDI: The Pakistan Army on Friday saw major reshuffles in its ranks, Geo News reported.

According to a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations, the media wing of the army, corps commanders of Lahore and Bahawalpur have been changed.

It said that Lt Gen Zubair Mehmood Hayat has been appointed as Corps Commander Bahwalpur while Lt Gen Maqsood Ahmed has been appointed as Corps Commander Lahore.

Lahore Corps Commander Rashid Mehmood has been transferred to the General Headquarters as Chief of General Staff, while, Bahawalpur Corps Commander Lt Gen Haroon Aslam has been appointed as Chief of Logistic Staff GHQ.
