Quetta: CID officers held for kidnapping for ransom

QUETTA: Law enforcement agents have apprehended five people including four Crime Investigation Department (CID) officers for their alleged involvement in kidnapping for ransom here on Saturday night, Geo News reported.

A Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) and a Superintendent of Police (SP) are also among the officers who were captured in a raid on a CID police station located on Khojak Road.

The lawmen also recovered a man who was kidnapped from Dalbandin along with the ransom money.

According to Home Secretary Balochistan, investigation into the case was underway.
