During the meeting, the bilateral ties, efforts on war against terror and situation in the region among various other issues were discussed.
President Zardari also took up issue of granting exemption to CIA drone attacks in Pakistan by US new counterterrorism playbook rules and expressed his reservation on it.
The President also hosted lunch for the Ambassador.
